Skinner is also out, he always seems to score against FL. Will Ullmark look like Mr Vezina again against the Panthers? Need a couple early goals on him before he starts feeling the Hasek flow through him. Hope to see FL play with the sense of urgency that this game warrants. They can create some space in the standings, or let Buffalo get right back in the chase. They better be ready to play, early start or no.

Knight is probably four years away, I don't think that'll be a problem. The last two years of Bob should be easier to move. The main worry is if Bob will be better than he has been. Can he adapt to being hung out to dry much more often than in Columbus? Clothesline or no, more is expected of him. He's had his moments of stellar play and then others of mediocrity, just like the team that is around him.

Bob is a classic example of getting a big contract and not playing up to his talent.

It's never all Bob, and many times he's made the difference when they're clinging to a third period lead. But, there's also been many iffy moments. He seems to overthink things sometimes and gets caught leaning, I think this is because he doesn't trust his D. He seems to leave the upstairs so wide open at times. I still think he'll settle in & find his groove in FL. The Panthers have a lot to clean up with their play in front of him. Each feeds off the other.

80% of the problem is defense. 20% of the problem is goaltending. Trade Hoffman now for a decent defenseman and find someone to take Vinny as well. Time to bring up Tippett.

I’m hoping the window tontrade Hoff isn’t closed. Meaning, I think the return won’t be what it could have possibly been when he was hot - if they were looking to trade him.

Id hope tonights goal showed again whats hes capable of but since he has the same amount of goals as acciari it isnt great considering his 1st unit pp time
